yeah I've been posting a lot of news lately (btw I just finished the video with all songs I posted on my account heptagon, more info in nothing 17)

Today I wanna talk about something that might ruin NG new creators.

So I posted my new song "Paradise life" 1 or 2 day ago I don't remember but I only got a little bot over 30 listens. In 2018 I had like 150-250 listens/songs and in 2019 it jumped to over 300 (except "Radioactive zone" which has over 1700 listens). But in 2020 my songs aren't getting over 100 listens anymore. I don't think it's because I'm getting less popular. I'm actually getting more popular. So I think the problem is the amount of new songs that get uploaded every day AND the fact that they change how we look for audio now.

It's the only reasons I could find. So let's talk about the the first one.

More and more accounts are created every day and this leads to more songs being uploaded. But that doesn't explain the fact that I had more listens in 2019. I don't really know if more creators joined in 2020 than every other year and by more I MEAN A LOT MORE because to drop the amount of listens I had from over 300 to less 100... Even my first songs have more listens than my last songs. There is definetly something wrong.

The second reason now. Why do I say one of the reason I get more listens is because of the change they made to how we look for audio? Well you see... Before 2020, we had the 8 new songs by scouted artists that were avalable. you needed to search the other songs or you had to use an id. Now EVERY song by scouted artists are avalable and you can even search for non-scouted artists songs. This + the fact that there is more account are the 2 main reasons why there is less listens in people's songs

I wanna know if I'm just getting unpopular, if I'm crazy, if you too are getting less listens than before or if you think it's because of other reasons
